studentit16 on "Problems with Contact Form 7"

Hi

I have only two issues with Contact Form 7, they are:

When testing and hit the submit button without any content it pops up white box messages but without any one there. So, my question is how do I make error messages such as Filled the required field appear?

Secondly, no matter how much I've tried I can get rid off the black border from the fields in IE 10 and Safari 6.0.4. Any idea?
