usernameSteve on "[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Wordpress Comment Area showing"

I have contact 7 on its own page. Contact 7 appears to override all the screen options when editing the page ( I want to remove or uncheck discussion but its no longer there)and the wordpress comments form is always showing at the bottom of the page. Anyone know how to remove it?
