is there any way of getting back those email addresses? No. All the plugin does is send the emails onto you. It doesn't store them anywhere in your database.

Is your WordPress installation is able to send emails? Try going through the “forgot password” function on wp-login.php. Do you get the email? If you don’t you will need to rectify this.
