Contact form 7 file upload issue

HI,
I am working on contact form 7. The problem is whenever I tried to upload .docx file; form was not submitted. But the wheel was spinning infinitely. in inspect mode, I find the response for form was 502 bad gateway error.
But, If I try to upload .doc, .pdf file; all is working good. Please help me whether it is a bug in contact form 7 or is there any solution is available to resolve.

#WPCF7-f2528-o1 Appended to URL

I was having a problem where the redirect was not work and I was having #WPCF7-f2528-o1 appended to URL for example, mydomain.com/contact -> mydomain.com/contact/#WPCF7-f2528-o1 after submission. I searched for a long time for a solution. I finally found one.. so I thought I would share.
Add below code to your functions.php and it will remove it.

desktop version of form doesn’t display correctly. Mobile version ok.

The drop-down feature on desktop does not function nicely like it does on mobile. The window is tiny and there are no instructions to select more than one option (I know that you can use the Shift key, but if we include that message in the form, it will look strange to mobile users). Datepicker fallback code not working

The datepicker fallback code is not working on my site at http://www.iisc.ac.in/news-and-events-submission/.
I’ve added the code add_filter( ‘wpcf7_support_html5_fallback’, ‘__return_true’ ); to my functions.php file but am still not getting the datepicker in Firefox.
However, it works if I add a datepicker class to my date field and use the below code manually. I’ve also changed the field type to text temporarily.

my surname is invalid in form submission

Hi there,
not sure if this is a problem with CF7 or with google recaptcha but the form submission fails when i type my surname “Roddick” I presume due to the last 4 letters.
“There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”
I spent several hours trying to find out what was going on & why firefox was working & chrome wasnt – & eventually.. ha! its my own damn name.
I am just asking here if you have any advice & if its due to the CF7 swearing filter or googles re-captcha?

can’t respond to the contact email

I received my first inquiry through this form. After I responded, this is what I received;
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
wordpress@***********.com
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain ********.com by mail.**********.com.
How do I get it to respond to the actual originator without having to delete and copy/paste?

Re-direct upon submission

I am creating a form that has a drop down selector with around 20 different bond types. I am wanting to re-direct to a page that corresponds with the bond type they selected from the drop down menu when they submit the form.

Js Error in scripts.js – this.ajaxForm is undefined

Slow to submit, no notification

I am currently running WordPress version 4.4.5 with Ken Theme. The website is http://www.sonavisual.com
Previously, upon completion of our form on this page http://www.sonavisual.com/contact the person submitting a form would see a confirmation stating that we have received their communication and we will contact them shortly. This feature is still enabled on the back end. However, I have noticed seeing a 3-4 forms come in at a time. When I asked clients, they said they were not sure if it went through.
When I tested it myself, I noticed the wheel spun for 20-30s (too long) and then upon submission, the confirmation line does not appear. Further, the form does not auto-clear so it is challenging for our client to know if their form submitted or not.
Can you please assist me on resolving this? I can provide further details on our build, just not sure what you would require.

Email doesn’t send when using File Attachment

I have a contact form set up to send 2 emails when the form is filled out. One goes to the site administrator with the information the user entered and the other goes to the user with a file attached.
The email to the user won’t send unless I remove the path to the file from the File Attachment box. I type the path in the format: uploads/2016/11/file.pdf

Email Feild Pings Back “Form Is Required” When Emai Is Shown

I’ve used Contact Form 7 in quite a few websites due to the way it works, and how simple everything is. Now this time I’m having issues with the email feild.
When you type the required feilds out (first name, last, email, subject, message, acceptacnce). It always pings at the email feild “This form is required.” I have the correct layout (example@domain.com; not the email I’m using when testing). After this form show the messgae you can’t edit the email feild.
Now I made sure the plugin was updated to the lastest version and I have the lastest version installed. Below is the form in the backend. The link to terms has been taken out due to clinet privacy.
With the layout of the from I’ve added the col-xs-12, then use full width you will notice I just use col-xs-12, to split I use col-xs- 6, all other feilds work fine, with or without this in the feild the email feild always shows the error message, then uneditable once shown.

Contact form 7 very heavy

I have a serious problem with contact form 7 Consumes me and slows down my WordPress template in almost 50%
I have reinstalled contact form 7, wordpress, back do everything from the beginning, I have disabled the load on all the pages in the configuration file of wordpress, I have deleted other plugins, etc.
I have done everything and nothing works even disable the js, css in the configurations of Contact form 7, from true to false and nothing works.
I have 1T in hard disk and 1TB in bandwidth
When I disable the plugin loads my site fast, but when I enable it takes too much almost two minutes
Already resent the plugin and always happens the same 🙁

I have CF7 (Version 4.5.1), in the last update it broken my confirmation emails. They have and img incrustated on the email body like this:

Suddenly “uploads” no longer work…

There’s no warning message. It seems the message gets sent as usual.
It’s just that when I receive it in my email, the files I attached do not arrive.
Just a heads up. Gotta make this plugin more reliable dude! Some people use it for serious purposes.
