The last polylang update causes issue. The form is not submitted, there is a 500 error with the ajax feedback request.
I don’t know if something can be from you. I’ve posted a request on the polylang page too.

Hello,
The contact form 7 stopped working on the mobile. I can not complete any of the spaces in the form. The contact form indicates that there is a configuration problem in this space > Reply-To: [your-email].
Note: the form can be completed correctly from a computer. (contact form 7: version 5.0.1)
Has anyone had this same problem?
Does anyone know how it can be solved?
Thank you.

Hey there
Having a headache with this one and I ‘think’ the issue is with Contact form 7, let me explain what is going on
I have a WordPress multisite, I am using WP Mail SMTP to send emails through this site – with this plugin I can send test emails which are received from each of the different sites in my WordPress multi site (just for some extra detail, the WP Mail SMTP plugin is installed in each of the sites plugins directory with the settings for the plugin set in each sites wp-config.php file as best practice for the plugin)
So I think the sites are set up and configured correctly as they can send the test email so I don’t think the issue is there, I have Contact Form 7 set up on each site and I can send emails through the root site but not from the other (there are only two sites on this Network) … as far as I can tell they’re set up identically
On the second site when I hit the ‘send’ button it just hangs and never sends … however in the console I am getting a warning I am not getting on the other site;
POST http://www.multisite.com/child/page/ 404 (Not Found)
404 on POST is confusing me .. I can’t see any files which are missing and all looks in order so that’s stumped me completely!
Feel free to try it out yourself, here is the working version on the parent root site
http://www.camp-site-finder.com/suggest-a-feature/
And the broken one
http://www.camp-site-finder.com/glamping/send-test/
(The site isn’t live so don’t worry about trying out sending etc)
If anyone could point me in the right direction or offer any advice on how I could debug this further I’d be hugely grateful!
Thank you in advance – hopefully that’s all the information you require

Hi!
I had this code for redirection on my form, and it is not working anymore.
I found the new solution for redirection here
https://contactform7.com/redirecting-to-another-url-after-submissions/
But I don’t understand to what file to add this code
<script>
document.addEventListener( ‘wpcf7mailsent’, function( event ) {
location = ‘http://example.com/’;
}, false );
</script>
Please, give me more detail instructions.
Best regards,
Elena

Hi there,
I added reCAPTCHA on the form, but it is not showing unless the page is visited with https. Is it always meant to work like this or is there some setting that I missed?
Now it shows a orange box error message “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.” when submitting even though the CAPTCHA is not even rendered.
Thanks

Hello,
I’m working on GDPR compliance for my site, and have a couple of related questions:
1. How can I change the checkbox to sign up to the (Mailchimp) newsletter, so it’s not ticked by default? I can’t seem to control where this setting is controlled. The checkbox also appears on the basket page.
The text accompanying the checkbox seems to perhaps be pulled from a central source for these two pages, as if I remove my custom text after [mc4wp_checkbox] on the contact form, it replaces it with the same text as seen on the checkout page. I don’t know where this default text comes from. I assume the default ticked checkbox belongs to this somewhere? Could it be from MailChimp, or MailChimp for Woocommerce? I can’t find it in the settings for these though.
I can’t find where or how I added the newsletter sign up box and sign up text to the basket page. Are you able to help please?
2. The spacing looks very odd by the tick boxes. How can I edit the appearance please?
3. I added an acceptance checkbox regarding storing information and you can’t submit the message without ticking this. However, if you don’t tick it, there’s no notification to say you’ve missed this. Is it possible to add this? Only that box is required, the newsletter tick box can be left blank.
Thanks so much!

Great plugin, has always worked on different sites with no major issues.
Keep up the good work.
However, recently stopped receiving emails. The email I had it set to is the same domain, and is working otherwise when sending a regular email.
The hosting is with GoDaddy, email is on the Workspace email plan. It is older hosting, so was wondering if plugin is still compatible with older email/hosting.
Form information sends ok when I use any other emails, including emails without the same domain and also emails I have in another GoDaddy CPanel account. So I know that the form is configured correctly. It just doesn’t seem to work with this domain.
I phoned GoDaddy and they ran a diagnostic on the actual email in question and all is good at their end.
GoDaddy suggested I contact you to ask for advice in relation to this.
Thanks

Hi,
There is an issue with the acceptance box in the current version of the plugin. On freshly loaded page running the Twenty-Seventeen theme and no other plugins activated, if the acceptance box is not checked then the submit button does nothing: no spinning wheel and no error message. I’ve cleared all the additional .htaccess
rules, and tried on the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox, but still the issue remains. Chrome is showing no obvious errors, although I’m not an experienced in debugging with the browser. You can see the issue on the form here: staging.englishlc.com/contact-us/

I use a CF7 in right sidebar of some pages of products. Can I automatically set the subject of the sent mail with the page’s title? How?

Hi, I have taken over my own site from a web developer who basically did not finish what had been promised. I have read forums, watched video content and taught myself about WordPress. However, I am completely flummoxed on why my updated contact page and having inserted reCAPTCHA is failing. Have inserted reCAPTCHA as below and copied the shortcode but it is not showing on my site. Have spent hours on the issue and really hoping someone will hopefully have an answer. Many thanks.
<p>Your Name (required)<br />
[text* your-name] </p>
<p>Your Email (required)<br />
[email* your-email] </p>
<p>Subject<br />
[text your-subject] </p>
<p>Your Message<br />
[textarea your-message] </p>
[recaptcha]
<p>[submit “Send”]</p>

The send button is “disabled” if a [acceptance] field is not active by default. So it does not show lists the error messages for missing fields.
The new rules on privacy in EU require that all acceptance fields be deactivated by default.

Hy
I do not speak much English but I try with translate.google.com
My form works great on Chrome. But with the Internet explorer it hangs when clicking on “send”. (rotating arrows).
Does anyone have a hint?

I am using the contact form 7 for booking the appointments and also using the date picker of contact form 7. I want to disable some of the dates in the date picker so that the user is not able to select those specific dates for booking an appointment because we are closed on those specific dates.
Please help.
Any help will be welcomed.

Hi there,
I recently redirected the forms to a Thank you page; however when I submit the form, a little green box appears at the bottom of the forms before I’m sent to the new thank you page.
A bit of a problem, hopefully someone can help with this.
Cheers and thanks,

Hi!
I’ve created a plugin to do some stuff, including validating a field. When I try to do so (following https://contactform7.com/2015/03/28/custom-validation/) I can’t get it to trigger. I’m running the script with xDebug and the add_filter is triggered, but then it just jumps the callback function, doesn’t go into it at all. Why could that be? I can’t understand what I’m doing wrong and I’ve tried it all..
Thanks!

On the Documentation page https://contactform7.com/selectable-recipient-with-pipes/ the developer NEGLECTS to mention that under the MAIL tab you must replace the TO: field wit [recipient].
Totally fixed my form. I found this in the developers YouTube video on the subject. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRcSo06voL0

I’m using div styling in my contact from to create multiple inputs on the same line like this:
<div class=”content-column one_fifth”><div style=”padding:0 20px 0 0;”><label> Title*
[text* your-title] </label></div></div>
<div class=”content-column two_fifth”><div style=”padding:0 20px 0 0;”><label> First Name*
[text* your-first-name] </label></div></div>
<div class=”content-column two_fifth last_column”><label> Last Name*
[text* your-last-name] </label></div><div class=”clear_column”></div>
The problem is I’m trying to add required checkboxes, the checkboxes I’ve currently got aren’t required, I got this code from another forum to create them however I can’t seem to find a way around this whilst still using <div> to make them a requirement :
<div class=”checkbox”>I have read and agree to the terms and conditions & privacy policy.
<label><input class=”wpcf7-form-control wpcf7-checkbox*” id=”check-brand” name=”check-brand” type=”checkbox” value=”Brand”></label>
</div>

Hello,
I have an issue with number field validation in all browsers. I have a Postnr field in the form that should only have numbers and it needs to be in total 5 digits. If I set thefield to [number* zip id:PostNr min:5 max:5 placeholder “*Postnr:”] I get the error message all the time even if there are 5 digits entered. If there is only one digit it outputs “The number is smaller than the minimum allowed.” If there are more than 5 digits it outputs “The number is larger than the maximum allowed.” Could you please hellp.
Thanks,
Kirill

Contact Form is a pretty awesome plugin. Have you planned to integrate it with FreshMail?
It’s popular email marketing platform in some countries. You can find API documentation here: https://freshmail.com/api_section/getting-started-en-en/

Hello,
I have several forms on my website and they each forward to a different page on completion.
I am updating the site to use the dom event and for the page above this works fine –
add_action( ‘wp_footer’, ‘mycustom_wp_footer’ );
function mycustom_wp_footer() {
?>
<script type=”text/javascript”>
document.addEventListener( ‘wpcf7mailsent’, function( event ) {
if ( ‘3562’ == event.detail.contactFormId ) {
location = ‘http://orkneyathleticclub.co.uk/payment-page-oac-10k-series-2018/’;
}
}, false );
</script>
<?php
}
I thought that for the other pages/forms I could just add a series of else if statements e.g.
add_action( ‘wp_footer’, ‘mycustom_wp_footer’ );
function mycustom_wp_footer() {
?>
<script type=”text/javascript”>
document.addEventListener( ‘wpcf7mailsent’, function( event ) {
if ( ‘3562’ == event.detail.contactFormId ) {
location = ‘http://orkneyathleticclub.co.uk/payment-page-oac-10k-series-2018/’;
else if ( ‘2975’ == event.detail.contactFormId ) {
location = ‘http://orkneyathleticclub.co.uk/another-page/’;
}
}, false );
</script>
<?php
}
But when I do the above neither form forwards anymore.
Please could you advise.
Many Thanks
Phill
