I’ve downloaded and installed contact form and added in integration and a recaptcha tag but for some reason there is a blue bar in the background (same colour as the send button) behind the recaptcha box. I can’t upload an image here, but everything is at default settings so it should be very easy to replicate.
Any ideas how to fix?

hello,
is it possible for the pluggin to send an email to the client that just filled in the form telling them that the repsonse was recieved adn also shows the response that they made. i know how to use the normal mailing but how about an automatic reply to the client after filling in the form.

I am using the wp REST API to retrieve posts from one of my other site. One of them embed a Contact Form 7 form.
How can specify an absolute URL for the action form in order to not add the hash part (ie: #wpcf7-f25-p4-o1) to the current URL but to the referred WP installation in order to override the default <form action=” **RELATED-URL** “> to the absolute one <form action=” **ABSOLUTE-URL** “> ? Is there a shortcode or something ?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi there,
I’m trying to use a placeholder in my form but I have the issue that the placeholder in a normal text field has a different margin to the placeholder in a textarea which just looks bad. Any idea how to solve this?

Hey everyone,
I am using contact form 7 Version 4.6. I wanted to implement the event tracking for form submissions in Google Analytics and followed the instructions here (http://contactform7.com/tracking-form-submissions-with-google-analytics/)
The event shows up in GA but it seems like every single pageview is tracked as a form submission. Has anyone made similar experiences and maybe found a solution for this error?
Every help is very appreciated.

ContactForm7 v4.6 with Flamingo…
users submit a form, and the form gets successfully sent, received and documented in Flamingo.
However, there is no notification to the user that the form was submitted successfully.
Attempting to submit the form again results in an error displayed properly in an orange box…
firebug shows an error when the first submit is pressed (and no notification gets displayed)
ReferenceError: ga is not defined
The error is not repeated when the button is pressed again (and that successfully displays an error notification)
as a side note, I also get the following in the firebug console:
Use of getPreventDefault() is deprecated. Use defaultPrevented instead.

Hi there
I am using contact form 7 on this page:

As you can see, the width are not the same, but I set them to 100%.
I also tried to set it for example to 500px, also textarea does not fit.
Also, how can I remove the background of the reCAPTCHA row ?

Will contact form 7 work on a server that has no email server installed/configured?
The reason I’m asking is that I have several wordpress sites(domains) installed on a server (VPS) but my installation of postfix is now working as expected. So I want to know, does Contact Form 7 rely on an underlying mail server or can it be expected to work fine on a server that doesn’t have a mail server installed? Thanks in advance for the help.

I’ve been using Contact Form 7 the past few months without problems, but now the reCAPTCHA is not showing properly.

Chrome console shows that the reCAPTCHA is still there (‘wpcf7-form-control-wrap’ as class) but it’s not showing up.
