Hello,
I have created a popup form with contact form 7. Everything is fine.

But when I successful message shows, I want to close the popup after the successful message.
I have tried everything like:

In additional setting:

sent_mail_ok:”document.getElementById(‘popupform’).style.display=”none”;”

The problem with this code is that it close the popup before showing the success.

But I want that popup close after 2 second of success message.

Please anyone help me.

I’ve been using Contact Form 7 during the last 2 years. From a few weeks ago, people who contacts me gets an error message (message not delivered).

I receive the message. Everything seems to be OK, but the message still appearing.

Hello,
I add on “Additional Settings”: on_sent_ok: “location = ‘http://example.com/’;”

on Messages I add: “We will contact you shortly. Meanwhile, you redirected to our homepage.”

But the problem is, when the user click on “send”, if all is ok, he automatically redirected to homepage, WITHOUT see the message. So, the user confused.

I want to add pause 2-3 seconds, after he read the success message, and understand that he redirected.

I’m creating a multilanguage site (italian and english), for the contact form I’m using Contact Form 7. For the translation, I’m using Transposh and all works well, but I can’t translate the messages of Contact Form 7 (for example “the message is been received, the field is too long etc…”), there is a way to translate also these messages?

I have inserted CF7 into page builder. The row is split into two with a direction Map in the second row. When the window is scaled down the fields stay the same size and overlap onto the other row behind the map. I am at a loss as how to fix this. Any help appreciated.

Hello,

I’ve build a contact form using contact form 7. With only some basic knowledge of html it wasn’t that hard. But now I’ve got a problem with some of the required fields.

When I leave them empty during filling in the form the required fields aren’t giving alerts. In the contactform the fields “breedte” and “diepte” are giving alerts if I forget to fill those fields. But the Fields “naam”, “telefoonnummer” “woonplaats” and “email” won’t alert me. I used the builder and selected the required field checkbox while setting them up.

Also the form doesn’t notice me about succesfull sending the email behind the form. Is there anybody who can help me?

Hi,

Is there a way to completely skip CF7 fornt-end validation for requited fields etc with message box?
I prefer to rely on browser validation as this one is not messing with layout.
CF7 is adding lots of custom elements that breaks the layout in many ways.

I’m trying to update an old form to use proper From and Reply-To configuration but am getting errors with the CF7 validator;

And reading about the specification I’m not sure what’s amiss.

The contents of my additional field are;

flamingo_subject: “Free Estimate Request from [FirstName] [LastName]”

All the shortcodes exist for this form;

I’ve been using this set-up for other sites without issue.

Is there just a bug with the validator or is something actually misconfigured.

Contact form works fine, thanks for it, but if someone visits our page (http://eyecandiz.hu) on a mobile device, our phone number is not visible, only on computer. Which setting should we change, so that the number will be also visble on mobile phones?

All my submissions are being marked as spam with the orange box containing “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.”

This has made it so that nothing will go through even when the Recaptcha is validated. I do not have a Cache or comment plugin active on my site and dont use Comment Blacklist. Please help!

Is there any way to assign labels explicitly to checkboxes in Contact Form 7?

I am running into an issue with WCAG 2.0 warnings with my form.

On my form I have:

By adding use_label_elements it removed a warning that said:

Hello,

This is probably something simple but when I have the form filled out everything comes through fine except the phone number. It is probably my unfamiliarity with the code but if someone could help out I would appreciate it.

I want contact form 7 to redirect to a specific page when on_sent_ok is successful.

Unfortunately, the domain of the page on which I want to redirect is not fixed, it changes time to time. But, the rest part of the url remains same.

I have many contact forms. So, if the domain changes, I have to manually change the value of url in all the contact forms. Which is very painful.

So, what I want to do is simple:

1. I want to create a variable containing the domain name (say, $redirect_domain_name) and store it inside some php file of the plugin.

2. Then I want to use the variable in my additional settings to redirect my users to the correct url.

This way, I don’t have to edit additional settings of all the contact forms manually when the domain changes. I can just change the value of that($redirect_domain_name) variable and all the URLs will automatically be updated.

Can anybody tell me how I can do this?

When we fill out the form we get the following message in a box with a red outline:

“Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.”

Please help. This is our main form of contact for business.

We have a separate contact plugin we use on other pages of the site, and the mail is working fine on when I test those forms, so I’m assuming it’s not about my server configuration.

I ran a test on my form inside the “contact” plugin. I’m getting “1 configuration error found”.

I found that under the “Mail” tab of my form, I had an error message saying “This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site.”

I had this in there: [name] <[email]>

This has been in there all along and it’s not been changed to my knowledge. I tried changing it to an email address from the website but it’s still not working.
