I added Recaptcha to Contact Form 7. I get the following error:
ERROR for site owner: Invalid site key
First, I generated new site/secret keys and tried again. Then I deleted the keys and removed the Recaptcha line from Contact Form 7, but I still get the error. I’d like to first find a way to remove the error and second find a way to make ReCaptcha work correctly.

In ver 4.8 of contact form 7 scripts.js seems to have been significantly re-written (not sure why?!)
The problem is that previously scripts.js included a very handy function, ‘wpcf7InitForm’ which I was able to call when my ajax powered site loaded, this then subsequently called all the necessary js for contact form 7 to work.
Unfortunately as ‘wpcf7InitForm’ has been ditched I can’t call it, and there doesn’t seem to be a replacement function to use.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get around this?

When looking at my site on Chrome there is a large space about 1″ above the Contact form. But in Firefox it does not do this, it looks the way it should. I use WPCF7 Styles with Contact form 7, there is just 1px for margin. The form code is placed in the right column text widget. Any idea how to fix ?

Hi all,
I just realized on my website that while using Contact Form 7 I prompted users to enter their email address, but didn’t have a field to display the email address in the forwarded email to my e-mail address. For example, in the message that Contact Form 7 generates I had forgotten to add email-475 in the display, so even though I was contacted through this form I couldn’t see who sent the email. Is there any way to recover this information, such as viewing submitted messages on WordPress or on a database? Thank you so much.

Unfortunately, the contact form does not send anymore after the update of wordpress 4.8. I use the plugin on several blogs, even after a reinstallation it does not help, it still remains on the ajax animation wheel.

Hello, I have deactivated all plugins, and installed a default theme of wordpress, as recommended in the FAQ and the loader of sending keeps circling without resolving the submission of the form. I do not know what to do anymore. Could you give me a solution?

*My situation*
I want to use Contact Form 7 with reCAPTCHA. When reCAPTCHA is included into the form all input messages are false-positively identified as spam. I get an error message with an orange border.
*What I have tried*
I have removed reCAPTCHA from the contact form. Messages are accepted. I have added reCAPTCHA to the contact form. Messages are rejected.
I have checked the FAQ for Contact Form 7. I use no comment blacklist. I use no cache plugin.
I have deactivated all other plugins (for instance Akismet and Jetpack).
But the problem persists.

In reference to the top 4 or so posts about CF7 version 4.8 not sending
Try rebuilding your permalinks: Go to your permalinks under settings and then turn it to none, press save then back to your current setting then press save again.
Fixed this exact problem for us.

I’ve read the FAQ about configuring the “From” field but am not understanding how to eliminate the <wordpress@mywebsite.com> field, and replace it with the email address of the sender. The “From” field contains the name of the sender [your-name] but I need it to also contain the email address of that sender. I’ve tried [your-email] and <[your-email]> without success. Can you please help? Thanks.

I have forms that work and ones that dont. I duplicated a form, and it doesnt work on home page but the form works on other pages. It says it send fine, but it does not send the lead details to us. Im very confused.

Hello I need urgently this problem solved. Does please any one have experiences with Contactform 7 – it works – sends forms nicely via firefox browser, but with chrome and safari it does not! what could it be?

I have a check box field in the contact form that is required:

[checkbox* your-age use_label_element "Under 13 years of age" "13 years or over"]</p>At the moment, as long as the writer selects a checkbox the email will be sent. I want to change this so that if the writer selects “Under 13 years of age” an error message appears, e.g. “Please ask your parent or guardian to relay your message” and for the email not to be sent.
Can anyone suggest how I could do that?

I’m trying to have GD My_List automatically populate in a text area in Contact form 7. Does any one know how that could happen. GD My_List has a shortcode — could I somehow place the GD shortcode in the contact form 7 shortcode?
