Tracking 2 forms in Google Analytics as 2 different goals

Hi,
I already tried different things but can’t manage it yet, and I didn’t find any answer yet in the forums.
I have two forms on the site and I want them separately counted in Google Analytics as a goal.
I read the next page about this:

But here the goal is every time a form is sent.
So the events which are measured in GA are always when something is sent for the different forms.
But I have 2 forms, so I only want that form counted which is submitted.
Can I somehow specify this in the script? Label/ name or id?

Background image scalling with Corporate Plus theme

Hi! I use Contact Form 7 with Corporate plus theme. I set a background image in Contact Form 7. When i scroll web page there is a strip not covered by the image. The wight of the strip changes while scrolling. See pictures. This bag is in Firefox only.

Contact Form 7 disabled mobile menu

Hi,
In troubleshooting a missing mobile menu on my site with twentyseventeen, I found disabling Contact Form 7 solved the issue and restored my missing hamburger menu.
I’ll leave it disabled for now and switch to a different contact plugin but I wanted to report the issue.

Im having an issue with this plugin..it’s only working with the defauld language of wordpress.. I have duplicated the form and translate to another language, but onloy the default works.. How can i make this work?

dropdown list not working in contact form 7

Tried to make a dropdown list work in your contact form a few years ago and could not. So I installed Widget for Contact Form 7 by DigitalCourt and that made your form work perfectly. However, Widget for Contact Form 7 appears to now be deserted as it has NOT been updated in over 2 years.
Back to TRYING to get your form to work and there is just NOOO way can I get it to work.
Here’s the dropdown list I’m TRYING to get to work properly in a widget

Brackets within CF7 tags

Thank you very much for a very good plugin!
How can the following HTML be written with CF7-tags?:
<input name="mc4wp-INTERESTS[58fa86ca5b][]" type="checkbox" value="35295e99fd"> <span>Photography</span>
It should look something like:
[checkbox mc4wp-INTERESTS[58fa86ca5b] "Photography|35295e99fd"]
But it appears as the brackets, i.e. [58fa86ca5b], can not be used within the CF7-tags.
The reason I am asking, is that I have a CF7 contact form which I have also connected to MailChimp using the plugin MailChimp for WordPress (mc4wp). The user fills in contact details and there are also several checkboxes where the user can choose various list groups to get subscribed to, such as Photography above. When submitting the CF7-form, this information is also sent to MailChimp including the list groups selected.
Everything works fine, including the checkboxes with list groups, as long as I implement the checkboxes using the HTML above.
However, I would prefer to use the CF7 tag-format, so that the checkboxes appear as mail-tags and can be included in the contact form sent as an email.
So, is it possible, in some way, to include brackets within a CF-tag?
I have searched the Internet for a solution, but I only find people who are having the same problem, but no solution.

Contact form doesn’t send mail through my smtp server

Hi,
I have created a form with Contact Form 7.
The mails are well sended, but thy arrive in SPAM.
So I installed the WP Mail SMTP plugin to send all my mails through my smtp server.
This plugin is well configured : when I send a mail for this within this plugin, the mail is arriving in my inbox correctly.
But when I send a mail from my forms created with ContactForm7, it still sends through wordpress mail function, and not using my smtp server, and so, it’s arriving in my SPAM folder.
How can I fix it?

Stripped Spaces in html_id & html_name

Hi
I currently use Additional Settings to set the Category for each form which allows me to track form submissions in Google Analytics (via GTM) …
on_sent_ok: "dataLayer.push({'Category': 'Contact - General Enquiry'});"
With on_sent_ok being depreciated I looked at using [contact-form-7 id="123" title="Contact Us Form" <strong>html_id="Contact - General Enquiry"</strong> <strong>html_name="Contact - General Enquiry"</strong>] however both html_id and html_name strip the spaces.
Inspecting via browser shows <form name="Contact-GeneralEnquiry" ... id="Contact-GeneralEnquiry">, as you can see spaces in each are stripped.
Is there a way to encode so the spaces are retained?
I can survive if we can’t it’s just that it will create a mismatch in Google Analytics so I won’t be able to compare on_sent_ok events with post-on_sent_ok events.
I understand that Targeting Individual Forms can be used via https://contactform7.com/2017/06/07/on-sent-ok-is-deprecated/ however I have many forms and am trying to be more dynamic in my approach.

reCaptcha is marked as Spam

Hey,
I just installed the recaptcha on cae-automotive.de/kontakt but the Messages are always marked as Spam and won’t go out, though the reCaptcha seems to work and is tickled with a green checkmark.
I only got the plugins Cornerstone, Slider Revolution and Contact Form installed. deactivating those didn’t help. A fresh installation of Contact form 7 didn’t help either.
I checked the Keys on integrationpage 5 times. They are correct. I entered the IP Adress and all Domains on the Apipage of Google.

Spam Filtering with Akismet

Hello,
I tried to use Akismet spam protection in contact form 7 with the help of this article.
My form has name and email fields so I added akismet:author and akismet:author_email with the fields. Then I tried the form with some random spam emails. But it doesn’t stop them. They just go to my inbox.
Do I need to replace the FROM field email with the email tag? But the FROM field email need to end with an id from the same domain. Correct?
Can you please help? I am using WP-Mail-SMTP plugin. Does it make any difference?

Can’t upload files via Chrome and Safari (4.8 only)

Hi,
I’m running WP 4.7 and today I have updated CF7 from v4.7 to v4.8, and to my surprise, I can’t upload files anymore, but this issue happens only while on Chrome or Safari (so it affects only WebKit browsers I guess?)
The error displayed is
“There was an unknown error uploading the file.”
I have then tried to upload the exact same file on the exact same contact form via Edge and Firefox, and the form is being submitted as it used to on v4.7.
I have then tried to roll back to CF7 4.7, and guess what now the upload works on both Chrome and Safari.
How this issue can be browser-related goes beyond my imagination, but I thought you should be aware of this bug and hopefully you’are able to reproduce it and fix it 🙂

Form don’t display in mobile

Hi
I have a simple contact form in my site that shows and work good in desktop, but don’t show in mobile.
I have a template with Visual Composer, then I added a Contact form 7 element in the page. In Visual composer, the mobile editor don’t have the possibility of to insert a element, then should be the normal contact form 7 showing in a responsive way, but this don’t show.
I don’t know what to do and if is this a common problem, if I have to do something for to show the form in mobile.
My site use WordPress 4.8, template Newspaper of TagDiv and VisualComposer 5.0.1 (although maybe is no important). I use some plugins like Mailchimp for WP, Akismet Anti-Spam and others.

Changes regarding handling of attachments

I am trying to understand changes with CF7 4.8 and the handling of attachments. I am noticing in one case image files are retrieved on send as an image string (inlined image (png), encoded in base64)with CF7 4.8 where they were being retrieved on send as a file link in 4.7. Can you give me any tips as to any changes that may contribute to this?

Dynamic redirection

Hi there,
I am using CF7 to create a post on the front end and after creating it I need the user to be redirected to that newly created page. So I got everything working by using the ‘on_sent_ok’ hook inside the ‘wpcf7_mail_sent’ action, but I noticed that it will be removed by the end of the year.
Will there be any replacement for this or will I have to find another solution for my case?
This is how I’m using it now:

Submit Button Not Working

I’ve been having troubles with the submit button recognizing itself as a button. I’ve tried rolling back to version 4.7 but there appears to be no action attached to code (see below).
