Contact form freezes upon submitting

For some reason whatever I try, cf7 doesn’t work anymore on my site. It worked fine, but now when some one tries to submit their message, the site just freezes. See this example I created http://busvouchers.com/testc/ . I’ve tried numerous things such as downgrading to version 4.7, but nothing seems to work.

Custom Template in Theme

I’m developing a WordPress theme and I’d like to have support for customizing the default forms and markup in Contact Form 7. Is that possible?
Can someone point me to some documentation on doing this or even an example theme that does this already.

Mail (2) is received but the first admin mail is not

We seem to be having a problem since the last update. The emails are formed correctly and the Mail (2), confirmation email, is being sent to the submitter but the admin mail is not being received. Have checked the FAQs and have contacted my Host. The host says the logs show the email as delivered when the form is submitted. I have tested with 4 different emails in the To header of the admin email and do not receive the admin submission with any of them.
I have added the admin email as a Bcc to the Mail (2) confirmation email and it is received then, but this is only a temporary fix as info in the admin email is lost.
The admin email has these header settings;
To: email@other-domain.com (tried gmail, outlook.com as well)
From: Email@site’s-domain-which-exists.com
Additional Headers: Reply-To: [first-name] [last-name] <[email]>
Bcc: admin@owners-email.com
Other then form’s fields and plain text the message body also includes [_remote_ip]
Mail (2) headers:
To: [email]
From: same as the admin email
Additional Headers: Reply-To: admin@owners-email.com
Bcc: testing-account@outlook.com
No form fields in the Message body.
Have checked all filters, Spam and Trash folders and no admin email found in te email accounts tested in the admin To header.

Mobile Menu randomly appears/vanishes with CF7 plugin enabled

Per the thread over at https://wordpress.org/support/topic/contact-form-7-disabled-mobile-menu/ it looks like some of us are noticing our mobile menus vanishing or not working (or working inconsistently) whenever the Contact Form 7 plugin is active.
Does anyone know how we can get in touch with the CF7 developer? I’d rather help fixs the bug than migrate to new software.
I have saved all of my settings and deactivated the CF7 plugin for now, as this build is going into production right away. I would like to bring it back asap.

Admin page – You do not have sufficient permissions

Hi,
I’ve just taken over the admin side of our company wordpress site.
I’m needing to update email address in the ContactForm 7 but the Contact/Contact Forms button is missing on the left hand side.
If I try to enter the url “…/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpcf7” I receive the “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this admin page.” message.
I am administrator. Is it another plugin or theme that is already loaded that has done this? I’ve looked around and we have nectarslider, salient theme, woocommerce also installed. a few other plugins like duplicator, hubspot, updraftplus, akismet.
I’m not a wordpress expert and i’m slowly learning things!
Can I try and deactive and reaactive or install the contactform7 plugin again or will that erase the form we already have in place?
Any help or pointers would be great.

JSON error when submitting form

When submitting any form from the website, it now just displays a JSON error below the button and nothing is sent.
Error message is different in different browsers:
Chrome 59.0.3071.115 – “Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0”
FF 54.0.1 – “JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data”
IE 11 – “Invalid character”
Forms were working fine until now. No updates or changes done on website recently.
Problem seen initially in WP 4.7.5 – installed 4.8 but same problem.
Deleted and re-installed plugin (Ver 4.8) but no different.
Any ideas ?

Message sent successfully – but I’m not receiving the email.

Hi guys,
As per the topic title really…
I’ve set up a contact form, made sure I’ve got the right emails etc. When I test it I get the ‘message sent’ confirmation. But I never get the email. I’ve checked my spam folder – nothing. I’m hosted with GoDaddy, and the email works as I can receive mail if I send from my hotmail account for example. So I’m guessing the issue must be with WordPress or the plugin.
Any ideas?

I’m always getting: “Attachment file does not exist.”

Hi there,
I constantly receive the error message: Attachment file does not exist.
I’ve tried relative and absolute paths to my file. Both are not working well. When I manually check the paths everything in the browser is working well. I guess this is some major bug in the current version?

Contact form opens an email box

Our contact form was put in place by a web designer who is no longer available to us. I’ve made updates to the site but still use the same contact form. The form field errors were corrected however when you click on “your name” or “subject” or any of the fields, it automatically pops up a new email message through my outlook client.
I can’t find any information on why it does this or how to fix it. Hopefully you can help.

Checkboxes and radio Buttons Broken in The7 Theme

Hi,
I am having an issue where the checkboxes and radio buttons are not displaying correctly ini any of my forms when i am using the The7 theme. When I switch to Twenty Seventeen they work fine. I have tried switchong from display:inline to display:block to get a verticle list, but it still occurs. The check box appears above the label, or off center across the form.

Error email notification?

Is there a way to have the form send an error message to the administrator whenever this error is encountered by my website user?
I have found updates sometimes cause this error with reCaptcha and I don’t find out about it for a week or two missing out on business.

Is there a way to embed an attachment photo (file upload) in the email body and display as a photo in the email?

I tried the above method but the image was missing in the email body. When I tried to save the missing image, the image file name was there but image was missing.
